Want to help out at the Portland Gear Hub? Great!

We welcome volunteers of any age, skill level, and background.

By volunteering with us, you’ll work with staff and other volunteers to perform tasks like disassembling bikes that can’t be fixed, helping out at community events, pop-up repair clinics or Open Bench Time, and refurbishing bicycles for donation.

If you’ve got some mechanical skills already under your belt, consider signing up to help out at Open Bench Time .

Show up to your shift with clothes you don't mind getting dirty, closed toe shoes, and a willingness to learn from and share your skills with other members of our community.

Corporate volunteering

We love hosting volunteer groups from your business. We ask for a small donation to help support our programs.
